RCDynamics is a small UK business run by racers, and we treat your data the way we'd want ours treated: we collect the minimum needed, we never sell it, and we delete it when you ask. This page explains the details in plain English.
Who we are
RCDynamics, United Kingdom.
Contact for anything data-related: mark@rcdynamics.co.uk
What we collect, and why
Product interest list. If you register interest in an upcoming product, we store your email address, your country, and (optionally) where you race. We use this solely to email you launch news for that product, and — for the first production batch — to plan allocation. Legal basis: your consent. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link, which removes you from the list immediately.
Orders. Payment is handled entirely by PayPal — we never see or store your card details. PayPal provides us with your name, email and delivery address so we can fulfil and support your order, and we keep basic order records for accounting. Legal basis: performance of a contract, and our legal obligations.
Customer portal accounts. If you create a portal account we store your email address and a securely hashed password (we cannot read your password), plus the files and setup data you choose to save there. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The site uses your browser's local storage to remember your shopping cart, and a session cookie to keep you logged in to the portal or preview pages. These are strictly functional.
Who we share data with
PayPal (payment processing), our website hosting provider (where the site and its data physically live), and nobody else. We never sell or rent your details.
How long we keep it
Interest-list entries: until you unsubscribe or the product launch cycle completes. Order records: as long as required for accounting and warranty support. Portal accounts: until you ask us to delete yours.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us at any time what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email mark@rcdynamics.co.uk and we'll action it promptly. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
